Waste Shed Burns at the Glens

On Sunday, August 11, 2024, at 23:35, Companies were dispatched to Chatfield Drive for a report of a free-standing waste shed on fire. 3 minutes later, dispatch advised that the fire was reportedly spreading to a nearby vehicle as well. Upon arrival, Chief 2 established incident command and 1-1’s crew secured a water source and stretched a 1 3/4” attack line. After a brief attack, crews performed extensive overhaul of the structural debris. Operations lasted about 45 minutes.
