Rollover MVA Causes Power-outages

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 11:50, companies were dispatched to West Parkway for a single-car rollover motor vehicle accident with entrapment and wires down on the vehicle. Prior to fire department arrival, Pequannock Police and Riverdale Police were able to remove two victims from the vehicle. Due to the accident, a section of town was left without power. 

After the loss of power, at 12:09, companies were also dispatched to a commercial building on Route 23 South for the report of two occupants trapped in an elevator. Engine 1-4 and Rescue 1 remained on West Parkway while Engine 2-2 and Rescue 2 broke to respond to the elevator entrapment.
